Boy blue!

This little character was created for a Christening cake...a real cake this time. I made the Christening cake for this little boy's sister a couple of years ago so it was nice to be introduced to the new addition to the family in such a sweet way. I have a total of 3 cake orders for this entire year, including this one. It's workshops and writing all the way folks. If I can still manage to take something on that won't be too rushed I will certainly do it. I may redo this little man and use him for a class subject. What do you think? Speaking of classes....I still have a few spaces left in the Bride and Groom class scheduled for Lancashire in May. Also, don't forget the Kissimmee, Florida classes in June. A Head and Hands class has been added to the Florida list and has proved an invaluable choice by past students.

Due to a little reorganisation....the Florida workshops have been taken over by Capital Confectioners. Please note that none of the original details have changed except that now LUNCH IS INCLUDED! New York workshops now online to book!

New York workshops are now full steam ahead...according to the response from those of you who enquired. All those added to the waiting list have been informed of the details and now it is time to tell the rest of the world...I'M COMING BACK TO NEW YORK!! Woohooo! The newest addition to the class subjects is "Mermaid's Bath Time" which is pictured. A little bit of fun and a hint of humour to make for a relaxing class. A return to New York?

I am thinking...only thinking...of a return visit to New York this year to offer classes. If there is enough interest then my thinking will be put into action. Is it too soon to return? Should I give New York a break? Decisions, decisions. Well you can help me decide by letting me know your thoughts and add your name to the list of interest. The proposed timing of these classes would be November 2010 and the class subjects would be:

Head and Hands (9.30 am until 1.30 pm)

Bride and Groom (2 day class)

Girl's Best Friend (sitting female figure with two labrador pups)

Mermaid Bath time (new project - pictures will be available this week!)
