Workshops in the Wirral

Colourful creation in black and white

Just finished this couple today....and I'm not sure where I'll be teaching them yet, but I hope to be kicking off 2012 with them that's for sure. Imagine talking about 2012 at this stage! Oops! Better not mention the "C" word.....you know the one I mean....if it doesn't involve Santa Claus you're thinking of the wrong one! Lol!

New York skyline inspiration
More painting fun on a cupcake...NY skyline for inspiration and a few brush strokes. I love how these turn out but don't know that I'd care to devote so much time to one little cake if I had to do a whole load of them for a function. I wonder what kind of function would want something like this? Most people go for the Italian Meringue buttercream and frangipani floral accent....simple and tasty, tasty, tasty! However, I enjoy this kind of thing much better than opting for a swirl of scrummy frosting, but it's something to be admired more than eaten...so perhaps I should make more of them at home so that I don't eat so many myself! Lol! Still might consider a little class for this type of thing though...it's fun for sure, so maybe it's time to pass some of that on.Don't forget Florida workshops in August folks...a swift change of subject for sure, but the classes are so near now I can't help but mention them!
